Privacy notice
Primeworth gas plumbing & heating ("we") is a sole trader, of 8 Pritchard Close, Rectory Farm, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN3 5BW. We are responsible for personal information collected through this website. Contact us about privacy at info@primeworthgas.co.uk or 07976 949420.
What we collect
When you contact us through this website we collect your name, phone number, email address (if given), your postcode or area and details of the work you need. If you give your email address, we send you one email confirming we've received your enquiry. We also receive basic technical information needed to keep the website secure and to block spam.
Feedback
If you send us feedback through our feedback page we collect your name, phone number, email address (if given) and your message. We use them only to reply to you and put things right. They are emailed to us and not kept on the website, and deleted within 12 months unless they relate to work we carried out for you.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and carry out any work you ask for. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business.
Who we share it with
Our website is built and hosted for us by Sprint Start (ICO registration number ZC265618), which passes your enquiry to us and does not use it for anything else. It runs on Vercel's hosting, your enquiry is emailed to us using Resend, and Upstash provides short-term protection against automated spam. None of them use your information for anything else. We don't sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep job and invoice records for 6 years for tax and legal reasons.
Counting how the website is used
We count how many times pages are opened, and how many people tap Call, tap WhatsApp or send the enquiry form. It tells us whether the website is doing its job. The counting doesn't use cookies and doesn't record anything about you: each one is simply a number going up. Nothing is sent to any other company, and there is no way to work out who did what.
Cookies
This website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
